Summer of Smiles

As a proud Massachusetts company, we’re committed to the communities we serve. Everything we do works to support access to quality and affordable care and ultimately, help communities across our state stay healthy. 

This summer, through our annual Summer of Smiles program, Delta Dental team volunteers packed and distributed more than 4,000 oral hygiene kits to nonprofit organizations across Massachusetts.  

Mobilizing dental care in underserved communities 

Did you know tooth decay, the most common childhood disease in the U.S., results in more than 51 million lost school hours each year? Access to oral health care from a young age is so important, and that’s why we’re proud to be working with ForsytheKids to expand access to mobile and school-based dental care in underserved local communities. 

Supporting children in need

We are honored to team up with Fleece and Thank You to help provide comfort and hope through their nationwide blanket donations.

The Delta Dental team assembled and donated 20 blankets to deliver to Mass General Brigham Hospital, each with an accompanied video to help provide friendly faces of support to a child in need.

Celebrating exceptional dentists

Massachusetts is home to some of the best dentists in their field. And we’re excited to honor local dentists who are doing outstanding work in advancing oral health by making a donation to a nonprofit of each winner's choice.
